Explore some of Morocco’s finest food, not only at restaurants but learning to make it for yourself! Morocco is also home so several wineries, producing incredible reds, whites, and sparkling wines. Visit the two largest producers to sample Morocco’s most popular wines.
Day 1
CASABLANCA, RABAT
Arrive in Casablanca and meet your driver outside the airport. Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque. Enjoy lunch at the iconic Rick’s Cafe. Continue on to Rabat, where you will visit the Hassan Tower and the Hassan Tower is the Mohammed V Mausoleum. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2
MEKNES, FES
Depart Rabat in the morning and travel to Meknes to visit Morocco’s premier winery, Les Celliers de Meknes. Tour the winery and then enjoy lunch and a tasting at their boutique hotel, Chateau Roslane. Continue on to Fes in the afternoon. Overngiht in Fes.
Day 3
FES
Embark on a culinary adventure with a hands-on cooking class, where you will learn to make traditional Moroccan dishes and enjoy the fruits of your labor for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the ancient medina with a private guide. Overnight in Fes.
Day 4
VOLUBILIS, RABAT, MARRAKECH
After breakfast, head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, touring the site with a private guide. Continue your journey towards Marrakech, stopping for lunch at a local seafood restaurant in Rabat. Arrive in Marrakech in the early evening. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 5
MARRAKECH
After breakfast, head to a small local farm for a cooking class, where you will learn to make more traditional dishes. Enjoy your lunch with a wine tasting of local wines in the garden. In the afternoon, explore the Marrakech medina with a guide to seek out different street foods offered in the medina. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 6
ESSAOUIRA, MARRAKECH
Make your way towards the coastal town of Essaouira, hopefully spotting the goats that climb the argan trees along the way. Stop at Val d’Argan, the second-largest producer of Moroccan wines, along the way for a wine tasting and lunch. Continue on to Essaouira, where you will visit a cheese producer where you will learn how Moroccan goat cheese is made, with plenty of samples as well. Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7
CASABLANCA, DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and travel north to Casablanca to catch your afternoon departure flight.
